The mission of the Advanced Manufacturing Sciences Institute (AMSI) is to provide high-quality, experiential education that will develop students into future leaders within the competitive industries of both physical and digital advanced manufacturing.
Our students will acquire real-world learning through state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and materials, soft skills through carefully chosen curriculum, and collaborations with the professional community to augment the development of skills, knowledge, and dispositions that enable our graduates to immediately fill sought-after positions within advanced manufacturing industries.

Advanced manufacturing is the use of practical and innovative technologies and methodologies for improved competitiveness in the manufacturing sectors.
The Advanced Manufacturing Sciences Institute at MSU Denver educates students to become professionals in manufacturing industries, such as Aviation and Aerospace, Mechatronics, Consumer products, Communications, Biomedical, and Digital Manufacturing, just to name a few.
Students in the Advanced Manufacturing Sciences (AMS) Bachelor of Science degree program will work in a multi-disciplinary learning environment to learn all the necessary technical and “soft” skills needed to become successful, such as critical thinking and innovative problem solving.
