Metro Meritus Program
The Metro Meritus program has been suspended for the summer 2021 semester due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It is anticipated that the program will resume for the fall 2021 semester. However, decisions regarding the status of the Metro Meritus program for fall 2021 have yet to be determined. At this time registration for fall is not open. The first day of class for fall 2021 is Monday, August 23, 2021. Updates to the status of the fall term will be posted to our webpage at Program Adjustments due to COVID-19. Please check back there at the beginning of August for information regarding the fall 2021 term. Find more program information here Program Information.
This program allows persons aged 60 years or older to participate for free in courses offered by the University on a non-credit basis. Most courses are eligible for this program based on the approval of the professor and the availability of space. For more information on which types of courses are eligible, instructions on applying for the program, searching for classes, and accessing the Student Hub, please see our Resources.
Metro Meritus students are not allowed to register until the first day of classes. Please contact the program coordinator, Susan Heath, at firstname.lastname@example.org, regarding registration.
