Welcome to the MSU Denver Counseling Center

Balancing the demands of college life can be difficult. In addition to academic requirements, there are financial pressures, relationship issues, and job stressors that can leave you feeling beat up and worn out. The Counseling Center staff can help you find ways to manage difficult times and provide you with a comforting place to examine your life and learn more about yourself so you can realize your potential. Students are encouraged to make an appointment for their first visit.

Counseling Center Remote Services During Period of Limited Operations

In order to be compliant with the social distancing recommendations in mitigating the community spread of the Coronavirus, our Counseling Center staff has taken several steps to maintain professional connections with our clients.
We are currently operating remotely so that we can continue to provide therapeutic support to our current and prospective clients, between  8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
New clients are always welcome and we will continue our daily Triage services for emergencies and crises.
For any mental health-related concerns, please call 303-615-9988 and leave a message with your telephone number and 900 ID so that one of us can get back with you promptly, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. After 5:00 p.m., and on weekends and holidays, you may call our 24/7 Crisis and Victims' Assistance Line at 303-615-9911.
