Mental Health Awareness Days

FALL 2021 - SPRING 2022 EVENTS

 NATIONAL YELLOW RIBBON SUICIDE AWARENESS

Presented as part of National Suicide Prevention Week 2021, these virtual workshops are conducted through Microsoft Teams.  The workshops will provide information on some of the warning signs and risk factors for suicide; suggestions for how to help yourself and loved ones who may be at risk; some of the misconceptions about suicidal behaviors; and resources for a deeper understanding and acting promptly if and when there is a need to intervene.

 MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS AND SCREENING DAYS

The Counseling Center will provide FREE SCREENINGS AND RESOURCES THAT ARE OPEN TO THE AURARIA COMMUNITY.

These are opportunities to gain more knowledge about Depression, Eating Disorders, and Substance Abuse, as well as healthy ways to improve your mood and behaviors. Locations TBD. Turnhalle requested.
