First Fridays

First Friday Art Walks have returned in person!

The First Friday Art Walks are the signature event of Denver's Art District on Santa Fe. CVA will be open until 8:00pm for the first Friday of each month, with a reduced capacity of 150 people. Please note that you may have to wait outside for entry, especially after 7:00pm.

 


Opening Reception

 

 

CVA welcomes you to the opening reception of Armor. The exhibition addresses dfferent ways artists express concepts of bodily protection and the means by which we arm and mend ourselves physically, spiritually and emotionally.

Water, Papers & Rhythm

 

Korean paper felting exploration with Sammy Seung-min Lee. Workshop participants will explore an array of felting and casting techniques using Hanji (Korean mulberry paper).

Visiting Artist, Scholar & Designer Program

CVA is proud to be the venue for MSU Denver Art Department's Visiting Artist, Scholar & Designer Program (VASD). The VASD program fosters participation and collaboration with both MSU Denver and the broader community. An integral part of MSU Denver's mission, the Visiting Artist, Designer & Scholar Program is an invaluable resource for students, faculty and the community.
