Open Enrollment is…open!

MSU Denver Human Resources is ready to assist you during this critical time. Oh yeah, medical premiums aren’t going up next year.

MSU Denver campusOpen enrollment for benefits for eligible faculty and administrators began Monday and runs through Nov. 17 at 5 p.m.

It is your once-a-year opportunity to review your coverage options and make benefit decisions for 2018 without a qualified change in status.

Now is the time to look at your current benefit elections to ensure they meet your needs. This year’s open enrollment is passive, meaning if you don’t make any changes during open enrollment, your 2017 elections will roll forward to 2018, except for participation in flexible spending accounts. Employees who wish to participate in FSAs must enroll each year.

MSU Denver is excited to announce medical premiums will remain the same for 2018 and there will be a 40 percent reduction in additional voluntary life-insurance rates. Information is forthcoming about dental and vision rates, as well as design changes to the Blue Priority Prime PPO plan and the High Deductible Health Plan.
