An evening with Isabel Allende in conversation with Kali Fajardo-Anstine

The Jefferson County Public Library is proud to present a virtual literary discussion with world-renowned author Isabel Allende in conversation with Kali Fajardo-Anstine, an award-winning author from Colorado.

Allende, a literary legend, social activist, and feminist icon, returns to the art of memoir in her newest work, The Soul of a Woman. Allende’s virtual visit will be enriched by a conversation with Fajardo-Anstine, whose short story collection, Sabrina and Corina was a 2019 National Book Award finalist.

 The University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada is proud to present the 2021 Latin American Film Festival. This FREE online event will take place from January 27th to March 29th and will feature a series of award winning films celebrating the diversity and complexity of life in Latin America. Each film will be available to stream for one week per film and will have sign-ups for live screenings and virtual discussions. Click the link below for more information.
