Inspired by the ones they help, nurses are people strong enough to tolerate anything and soft enough to understand anyone

Nurses make up the largest group of health-care professionals in the U.S., with prolific opportunities to work overseas. And while the demand for registered nurses in hospitals and the community continually rises, there is still a shortage of qualified nurses throughout the country. Employers want their nurses to be skilled in the science and art that make nursing such a special profession, and thats what well teach you at MSU Denver.

The Department of Nursing offers three degree plans: AcceleratedTraditional, and the BRNCO/Dual Enrollment (RN-BSN). Our well-rounded programs encompass science and evidence-based practices along with compassion and person-centered care that prepares you for success in today’s health-care industry. Our faculty are highly experienced in a variety of practice specialties. They have a passion for teaching, instilling their knowledge with experiential and hands-on learning and a dynamic curriculum that allows our graduates to adapt to a rapidly changing health-care environment.

Professional nurses are motivated to help others in need of physical and emotional care, comfort and understanding by providing high-quality, effective and compassionate care, always. The nursing profession is a fulfilling and rewarding career that will have you confronting new challenges daily.

COVID 19 Policy
The Department of Nursing has developed a policy about COVID 19 and its potential impact on students, staff, and faculty.  We will review this policy on a regular basis to make sure we continue to be in compliance with CDC guidelines.

“MSU Denver’s Nursing Department is supportive to their students. While in school the students, your professors, and the department’s staff become your family. Together they all help you with every obstacle you come across. Now that I am graduated and I talk about nursing school with other nurses it seems as though they didn’t have this same experience. I have recommended MSU Denver’s Nursing Program to many people interested in the nursing career.”
